I'm coming to the end of my warranty (mileage, not time) on my '97 and I am
thinking about the extended warranty only because I love the truck, but I
have had so many problems I am now thinking it might be a wise investment.
Either that or I just trade for a new 2000 model next August (which is the
leading option right now, assuming we are going to see four doors and new
engines).
Does anyone know if it is more expensive at a dealer (i.e., is the price
negoiatable) or from Chrysler direct? If you have the Chrysler extended
warranty, is it as good as the original 3/36 or do you have to go through
weird approvals or other insurance-type warranty stuff?
Thanks!
