Sorry for the really long post I just placed. I just went out to Westoaks
Dodge website and they beat Mike prices! I just got off the phone with Mike
and the REAL price will be 10% off what you saw on my previous post. This
means that Dakota, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Ram V8 headers will be $430.20
instead of $478.00, and V10 headers will be $453.33 Of course shipping is
extra. I asked Mike about our DML member that bought his for $330.00 and he
said that he was aware of that order that the guy who took the order had
pulled up the wrong part number for pricing. He said that the headers cost
him more than $330.00 to produce after materials, labor and overhead. He
said that he sells to Mopar at $390.00 and that he could not come off of the
jobber rate any more than 10% because he was afraid that the dealers such as
Westoaks would get highly pissed that he was selling the headers for less
than they could buy them for. As a side note, Mike Leach is also the guy
that makes the Mopar performance exhaust for our trucks. Maybe we can work
something out on that as well for those that are interested :)
