Thanks, I'll give that a try. As a matter of fact, I was just last night
looking through a Haynes manual, just bought it, and the impression was that
was certainly a first step to do. The procedure looked simple enough.
Guess I'll give it a try.

Anyone out there know where I could find an owner's manual for an '89 Dak.

Since the tranny is rebuilt, maybe the TV cable needs adjusting. This
cables tension decides when the tranny shifts, too early, tighten, too
late (holding way beyond shift point) loosen. Alan S.
