Any service need at 20K for new Dakota?

My '98 Dakota (2wd, auto trans). is coming up to 20K miles (more than a year old) and so far the only
service I've had is oil/filter changes every 4K. I pay alot of attention to the manual (where is shows
a "normal" and a "severe" schedule...I figure I should be in between)...but i'm pretty unmechanical, though trying to
learn.

If I use the "normal schedule", nothing really is needed until 22.5K: inspect brake linings and wheel bearing.
But on the "severe" scedule, at 12K is says to do lots of other things, and at 18K it even includes draining/filling the
transmission fluid.

One thing I'm wondering is: (1) What do you recommend I do now. (2). How do I deal with the Dodge service centers,
where they have they're own schedule "packages". And the different dealers all have different packages: one offers an
"xyz" at xxx miles, another "zyx" at yyyy miles, etc. But none really correspond with the manual.
