Let me say up front that I'm not trying to put anyone down.
Why is the CC crowd having so much problems with aftermarket blowers? I
still have one foot in the F*rd performance scene and blowers are so common
that when I hear the "whine" it doesn't even excite me anymore. I blew more
head gaskets when my St*ng was N/A. Once I got boost I paid careful
attention to the fuel and spark settings and so far no problems (head studs
and loc-wires help too). I suspect most of it is due to the F.I./engine
management. Anyone with experience care to comment?

I'm afraid I'd have to debate that point with you.
