Check the Tire ratings on the stock vs. the new ones and you may be
surprised. (The stock...bulls--t tires that Dodge puts on their trucks
really aren't worth anything.)
One word of caution:
I have a 1997 Dakota SLT (V6/2WD) that came stock with the 3.55:1 POSI and
245 tires. I changed the tires to the BFG 31" and immediately noticed a BIG
decrease in performance. (Granted the MPG on the highway were better...but
it just wasn't worth it.) I changed the gears to 3.92:1 and it never run
better. (Along with some other mods...)
