A few people have already swapped out their fans for electric ones, so
I know that's do-able, but has anyone used an electric water pump on a
318 or 360? I thought that I could do this by putting an electric motor
in the engine bay with a pulley from it to the water pump, but there
just isn't enough room; the serpentine belt gets in the way.
I'd love to have an electric pump and fan so that I could just leave 'em
running when I'm parked in the pits or waiting in the staging lanes...
I think that would really help to get cooled down quickly.
Any ideas or info about this?
