Living in Northern Virginia now you are FORCED to have your vehicles
emission tested. I just finished paying this "lovely" additional tax, and
can relay that the '96's do not have an EGR. I watched the inspector punch
everything into the computer. The program has all the tech specs on your
vehicle. When it came to listing the EGR; the built in response was N/A.
Hope this helps.

What I have always heard is that the 96 and up have an "internal" EGR.
I would love to hear that they don't have an EGR, so I don't have to worry
about it! Anyone know anything about this?
