Ryan, yeah, the Candy Copper color was the one. They showed the
production version, it was white, fairly demure and I'm sure nothing to
be scared of. The engineer said the concept truck was built to show the
stock platforms overall potential. Even used a V6 when a V8 would have
fit, but S10's don't come with a V8, so they kept it realistic. I'd say
they proved it to be a real contender. They used all available S10 parts
as well as aftermarket with the V6. I'm not especially partial to any
automaker anyway, if it looks good and is FAST, I like it. My R/T is my
first CC er DC product. Alan S.

Kyle, it's true the S-10's are slow, especially because I drive an R/T.
However I wonder if you or anyone else saw the Motor Trend Magazine show
on TV last Saturday? They had the GM engineers take a stock S-10 and
totally rework it into a BADASS, V-6 and all! They lowered and
re-suspended, put HUGE wheels & tires(20"-45/35), and a motor
enhancement (no SC or N2O) to the tune of 300 and change REAR WHEEL HP.
They actually showed the Dyno pull, useing a chassis dyno. The rear
wheel wells looked almost like a dually flare, yet this truck smoked the
tires! Big deal you say, can't buy one anyway, right? Wrong, it's called
S-10 Xtreme. I doubt you'll see many, or even ANY, the price has got to
be way out there. But I thought it was very interesting. Alan S.------------------------------------------------------------

S-10 ZR2 4x4 bad with that 4.3L and he asked me at a stoplight, further down
the road after the spank, if I had the V8 318....I laughed and said nope, the
3.9L V6! Even worse he had an exhaust system and 25,000 miles on his....while
mine is bone stock with 95,000 miles(at the time).
