Nope, I was just checking out their web site, and there are several
references to using Viper components in the suspension, but nothing
about the drivetrain.

Hmmm, yeah I thought that it might be likely that I'd have to create
another hole for the stick. I don't think that would be a big problem
though, as long as there are no crossmembers or stuff like that in
the way...

Another thing I wonder about is my Y pipe; its practically touching
the tranny now, so if the T-56 is bigger, that might be a problem. I'd
probably have to go with true duals, which would mean I'd be pulling the
tank and probably mounting a fuel cell in the spare tire area, moving
the spare into the bed... That, plus a custom driveshaft... An already
expensive tranny swap is getting more and more expensive! :-)

Although I do want a new driveshaft anyway, so that doesn't really
concern me much. I could really do without having to mess with the
Y pipe though, especially since it wasn't exactly cheap...

:-) I'm also keeping my eyes and ears open for when the SR-71 guys
start selling components. They might sell a kit with all the stuff
to swap the T-56 in or something... Course, even if they do, it might
not work on our old daks...

Hey, who wants to buy me a 4x4 Dak so I'll have something to drive
while I do this swap? ;-)
