Hi, everybody. I'd just like to first say, Merry Christmas to
everybody and I hope there is lots of truck accessories under the tree
this year! I have 2 subjects:

     1) Jumpin' the gun

So as some of you may know, I have a 99 R/T on order. I don't have the
truck, but I'm getting accessories for it already. My awesome
girlfriend has already bought me a roll pan I ordered (see below for
more on that) and we just picked up a K&N 14x3 chrome air filter
     w/Edelbrock 8093 1/2" spacer on Saturday. Doesn't she rock?:-) So am I
jumpin' the gun on the goodies or just being a truck-freak? Ok, I'm a
truck freak!! Just wait 'till the stereo goes in.......

     2) Hoodwinked

As I said above, my girlfriend says she'll buy me roll pan for xmas.
Cool. I find a shop that carries Street Scene and I call them up to
order one. No problem. I like the look of the SS and I'm pretty
confident that they are good quality (ie. minimal prep work and
straight lines). Roll pan comes in. Right on. Go down to shop and
buddy tells me that SS is "out" of 'em and that SS sourced it from a
company called Precision. What a joke this p.o.s. was! Chips on the
edges, really wavy mounting lip and other various lumps. So I laughed
at this and wasn't about to pay $200 CDN for this thing, and told the
guy I would wait for a genuine SS piece. Buddy says the SS is of same
quality because its fiberglas and it would be the same. My brother
thinks the guy sourced it himself from a cheaper place and hoped to
make big profit on it. Makes sense. Sounds like he was trying to pull
a fast one, eh? What do you folks think? Does Lund make one for the
Dak? Do you think that the SS is any better? I think so.

Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate them!
