Leach headers are here!

All,
I received my Mike Leach/Mopar headers last night, and boy do they look
good! All of the welds are very clean and there is only a couple of very
small pieces of "pop corn" in various places. The Y-Pipe is a full 2.5" that
terminates in a 3" collector. There is a 3" to 2.5" reducer that you install
just in front of the cat converter, so those who would like to run a full 3"
including cat, are ready to go. Everything of course is mandrel bent, and is
very smooth. The headers also include all mounting hardware and Mopar
gaskets. I had mine ceramic coated in black by Ceramitech and the job they
did is also first rate. I decided on black instead of silver because the
silver will dull a little over time and is more likely to show dirt and oil
than the black will. The instructions are very straight forward, and easy to
follow. I cannot wait to install them. I will take some pictures and post
them to my web site this evening. I will post then to let everyone know that
the changes have been made. Until then, you can look at the pictures of my
wrecked Dakota. The pictures are a couple of weeks old, and in fact major
progress has been made on the truck. I was told Monday that I may be able
pick it up today. It was completely painted and the cab was reassembled. The
guy who has done all of the body work said that he was getting ready to
mount the bed back on it right then, and the bumper was drying in the paint
booth. I will have photos of the truck after the repairs as well. I must say
that at this point I am impressed. As expected, neither I nor my wife can
tell where the cab had been cut and the new panels welded in. This is true
for all surfaces including the door jam!
