Jim the 273,318 & 340 are the same block (the 360 is a diff block) for the
most part. You can punch a CC A block to about 355 CID before hitting the
cooling sleeves. If you can just look for a 340 some place and grab it! They
are awesome engines and take alot of abuse with lots of top-end. Used to
love working on the Carter TQuad carb's on the 340. They are a pain to setup
but once you do watch out!
