It is radio xmitter that signals a module in the vehicle which starts
the eng. Some of the systems can be programmed to work the door locks
and disable the alarm sytem if present. I just got my wife one for her
birthday and as soon as the weather gets a little better, I'm going to
install it, I'll let you know it is to install
