I knew the ford v10 was inferrior to the dodges v10 but not by that much.
Here are numbers taken from the econoline van.

  V10 6.8L 265-hp
HP 265 @ 4250 RPM
Torque 410 @ 2750 RPM
displacement (CC) 6801

DODGE V10
8.0L 300-hp V10
HP 300 @ 4000 RPM
Torque 450 @ 2800 RPM
dispacement (cc) 7994

You might want to check those #'s again on the Ford V10, I don't
remember the exact numbers, but I know they are higher than that. Where
did you get this info from? Are these supposed to be rear-wheel #'s?
Even if they are rear-wheel, I still find it hard to believe.
