I believe that Dexron III is an improvement on dexron II. You can go up,
but don't go down from III to II.

NO! you will get a shudder on shifts at least, and I don't even want to
think about what would happen at worst... 7176 ATF+3 is the latest version,
and I believe this is semi-synthetic.
