I took the front skidplate off, noise went away. I was pulling my hair out
trying to figure out what I might have screwed up by greasing the driveline
and installing the skidplates...

Hmm. I must have mapped the single-quote to the wrong character. I noticed
on some other folksī machine, it comes back as a Yen (Jap money) character.
Thatīs not made in Detroit! Sorry.
