I had to grind down the heads of my header bolts to insure that they go
in straight. Maybe it was poor engineering on MOPARs part. I must have
installed one of the first production pairs that was produced as I was
waiting in line for some time for them. ('97 Club cab w/ 5 speed).

Alan,
Thank you for the hints on the header install.
On the O2 sensor, I hopefully will not have to worry about that too much
as
I have a 5.2, not 5.9 and as such only have one O2 in front of the cat,
but
I will keep my eyes open for it. I knew the one about the heat shield
screws
sticking out and the dremel has a fresh cut off wheel on it waiting for
them. Than you for reminding me about the heat shield being a tight fit
past. I knew of that one, but had forgotten about it. And I will watch
for
the center head studs. I had been debating whether to use them or pull
them
out and use the bolts in the kit. Having the studs there will definately
be
helpful.
I'm off to the garage. See you..........................later :)
John
98 Dak
