You did not mention your transmission preference. When I purchased my 97, I
test drove a V6 auto and thought it was quite sluggish. The V6 5 Speed felt
much better.
So I bought the best of both, V8 five speed and have no regrets.
The bumper on my black sport also bubbled and rusted after only a Year. The
dealer fixed under warrenty. No questions asked. No problems since.
