FWIW ...
I can't imagine why you wouldn't want the limited slip (unless you
have plans on adding a locker, or otherwise redoing the rear). As
options go, it is cheap, effective, with little downside. The other
day when we had that bit of slush/ice, for the most part didn't put
the truck into 4 wheel mode, let the limited slip with Michelin M/S
tires handle it. I would also opt for the 4 wheel ABS (which is
actually cheaper than the various web sites were showing), but the
answer to that borders on religion.

I chose the V8 witht he 3.92 rear. From every review/report I
couldn't find any real benefit for buying the 6 (other than price),
and I like that added burst of power.
