I didn't get it but here is some info.

Component: STRUCTURE:BODY:CAB TRUCK (8/82)
Manufacturer: CHRYSLER CORPORATION
Year: 1998
Make: DODGE TRUCK
Model: DAKOTA
Manufactured From: MAR 1998 To: JUN 1998
Year of Recall: '98
Type of Report: Vehicle
Summary:

Vehicle Description: Light duty pickup trucks. These vehicles may have been
built with bolts that were not properly hardened. The bolts were used to
attach the cab and the core support to the frame.

This condition can allow the cab to separate from the frame increasing the
risk of a crash.

Dealers will replace these bolts with properly hardened bolts.

Owner notification began September 21, 1998. Owners who take their vehicles
to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive
the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Chrysler at
1-800-992-1997. Also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration's Auto Safety Hotline at 1-888-DASH-2-DOT (1-888-327-4236).

I just read on Carpoint that CC put out a recall on 98 and 99 Dakotas in
Sept 98.
It said it was for faulty cab to frame bolts.
I did not get notified and was wondering if anyone else has heard of this
mandatory recall.
