The only difference between the DC-210 ad the DC-260 is the short audio
clips, and $350.00
If a few seconds of audio is worth that kind of money, I say , go for it.
If not, then get the DC210 for @ 450.00 Unless you are a professional
photographer, you won't need any more than the 8meg memory card that comes
with it. It holds about @24 hi-res pics. @80 low-res pics. Watch your
wallet...

I've had two digital cameras.
Kodak DC20 (a toy)
Kodak DC40 (current camera).

The DC40 took the best pictures in its day (2 years ago), but now it is
starting to
show it's age. My Dakota pictures were all taken with this camera. For
most things
it is fine (48 pictures in HI res, w/no removeable storage). (782x560)

If you are planning on purchasing a camera, and have about $800 to spend,
get the
Kodak DC260 camera... Then plan on spending another $150 for a 32mb storage
card.

With the 32mb storage card, you will be able to take 90+- HI resolution
pictures
(1500x1280- good enough for an 8"x10" 35mm quality picture), 160+- medium
resolution
pictures (1280x960), or 250+- low resolution pictures (782x560)..... The
camera has a color
view finder, can record an audio clip with the pictures (takes away a few
pictures from the
total available), USB support, direct video out (to play to a VCR or
Television for a quick slide
show), etc. etc. A great camera. My goal is to sell my DC40, and then in
a few months
get a DC260 for work purposes (yeah right!).

Been there, done that.
