I got around it by (please don't laugh too hard now)
Driving with TWO feet. one constantly on the gas and one on the brake so it
wouldn't shut off. i know it's kinda hard and i had a tendency to just give
it gas at stop signs, but it worked and i got me to the dealership. My advice
is to drive when there's barely any traffic at all, so if you stall or what
ever. you have the chance to start up and get outta da way..
