All I can say is, if it is under warranty, TAKE IT IN!!!! My 93 Dakota 4x4 V6
did the same thing at 13,000; 34,000; and at 75,000 when all 3 times the fuel
pump went. These are extremely sensitive pumps. One day it would run like a
gem, other days I would be stranded in a cornfield when I was hunting. For
your safety, just take it in, they will pull the codes and see if the pump did
mess up. To me, just sounds too much like a pump starting to go haywire.
