Congrat's Ward! Bet you'll have a hard time sleeping tonight (visions of
Dak's in his head :-)! Heeheehee... I got my '98 back in March so I still
remember what it was like. I must have gotten out of bed three times
during the night just to go take another look/check something out. She
told me if I got out of bed one more time I'd have to sleep in it... I
have to admit I was tempted ;-)
There will be a wealth of advice from the DML as far as break-in (or lack
there of) so all I'll say is I took it easy on mine for the first 3k miles.
You'll see a lot of debate on the merits of this.
The best advice I can give to you though is pour yourself a stiff one and
kick back and enjoy the rest of the Florida - Tennessee game so your real
tired when you crawl into bed... It's a great ball game too!
Pleasant dreams :-)
T.

After many hours of waging war with the vicious sharks I managed to
escape with my life (and a truck to boot).
The sharks I am referring to are the Car Dealers! (They all want to be
my friend, then stab me repeatedly in the back. Or hand me a jar of
Vaseline and ak me to grab my ankles!)
I am now the proud owner of 1 99 Intense Blue V8 Club Cab Sport
I was unable to get the slip diff. option (I unfortunately was on a time
frame, and had to buy something off the lot)
I have only had the truck for about 4 hours now and still don't know
what to make of it all!!!!
Any suggestions on how best to drive the truck during the break in
period??
Always,
Ward
