The system is a cat-back. It replaced everything from the cat-back.
New muffler, tailpipe, and chrome tip. Fit perfectly, install was
easy, (after I got the old pipes off, that was a chore!!). I do not
have headers, a y-pipe or any of that stuff. I gained low end, nice
midrange, and do not run the hell out of it at the top so I don't have
a answer there. I four wheel, so I was looking for low end grunt, and
that's what I got. It's relatively quiet until you stomp on it, and I
can just hear it running down the freeway, doesn't drone or rumble
over my tunes...I recommend it highly....

Thanks for the reply dude.  That was my experience as well with my '93 Eagle Vision, got some nice low end.  I am like you, don't need WOT increases.  But now I am confused, WHEN is it that one looses the low end?  For instance, as posted in the DML, apparently the Y pipe is really constrictive, so I was going to have them make a new one, large Cat,  but leave the stock exhaust manifold. Will I lose the low end then?   Or, in your opinion, should I just break down and go ahead and get the damn header while all this is getting done?

Also someone had mentioned using the exhaust pipe for a Cummins diesel used in Rams, what is that diameter?
