OK , maybe I spoke too soon .
I was looking at the fact (to me anyway) that if they would work on the 97
that the application would be listed 96-97(and98) instead of just 96 . I am
sure the motors are the same , but I would be willing to bet that there is
a clearance issue somewhere with the different body styles .
Just a guess , but I wouldn't swear to it .
