Yep, good points. :-)
I have considered changing my tranny and rearend fluid to synthetic
a few times, but I'm not sure if I should... Mopar says to use their
fluid, and I wonder what might happen if I changed the fluid and had
to have warranty work done. They might claim it was because of the
non-mopar fluid... They probably couldn't prove it, but I probably
couldn't prove that it wasn't the fluid... :-(
I don't doubt that the synthetic is superior, and I'd change it in
an instant if it wasn't for the warranty issue.
Anyone have any experience or thoughts on this?
