Joe, I have the same setup but mine is a '98. The 5.2L 5spd
combo pulls great! Acceleration up mountain roads or anywhere
is fantastic. 0-60 is superfast and even with the high gears
it reaches the 115 mark to easy. If the speedlimiter was not
there were talkin' 125-130 range (my guess). I also purchased
this setup for pulling boats and campers, but I've been bitten
by the DML mod bug. Good luck, you've ordered a great truck!
