Yep, we're talking semantics here, but I thought the "TracLoc" was what CC
called the limited slips on the Jeep line, while "Sure Grip" was the
limited slip for the Kota's?!... But they're both the same LSD unit??
Gotta' agree with you Jason that this stuff really does get confusing...
Too many damn trade names floating around! Speaking of floating, we have
semi-floating axles, both front and rear, that are made by whom?... Awwww
forget about it!... This is giving me a headache. :-)

Jason,

You are getting your terminology mixed up. The TracLoc unit is the current
Chrysler Limited Slip Differential. It also went by other trade names such as
SureGrip and PowerLoc. All the same thing.

It is an extra cost option on all Dakotas and Rams.
