                Oh yeah...Vortech. Now there's a good design...(Being VERY
sarcastic here).
Let's put the oil line into the crankcase and see what
happens when some
metal gets through the filter and then into the blower...and
then put that
                into the engine.

Let's say the some metal does get pass the oil filter. Even
if the don't have a vortech it'll still reach your engine. I don't
understand your logic.

No thank you...i'll stick to Paxton. (Even though they
changed their design..you can still get the original.)

The original Paxton "ball" design had a separate lubrication
system. This fluid must be changed every few thousand miles or the blower
would not deliver max boost nor last very long. The fluid heats up very fast
(partially due to the small capacity) and you must add a separate cooler to
get the most out of it. It also required a lot of power to drive. Ever turn
the pulley of a Paxton and vortech by hand. I've had friend who ran Paxtons
in the early '90s before trying Vortechs. They've never looked back since
then. I'm not putting down Paxton as a company. I use their fuel system
components and I've heard good things about the gear-driven NOVI blower. I'm
just not a fan of the old ball driven units.
