Hmmmm... Interesting. I've never seen a plug that *didn't* have a washer
between the top of the threads and the bottom of the nut ring. The stockers I
pulled out had a washer... I think it's called a compression washer as it is
supposed to compress and flatten out when you tighten down the plug.

I went out today and bought some of these plugs....let me first say I have
never spent this much on a plug, they were $5.99 each, but I did have a $20
gift certificate, so it wasnt that bad. The part number for these were 4418,
for my 93 Dakota 4x4 V6.
These plugs seem be very very well made. I have always used Champions and I
decided to try these Bosch's. So far I am pleased with them, but then again I
didnt even put em in yet :) The one thing I really like is the fact that they
never have to be gapped. I wonder how bad the gap changed on my Champion Truck
Plugs, they have been in for 32,000 miles, only checked em once, and they were
off then.
I do have a question though, these plugs came with what I call a 'washer', I
guess maybe its an 'index washer' though? These are already all the way on
past the threads, so I guess I should leave em on??? I havent used any washers
before when changing plugs, should I of?!?!
Thanks
Kyle
