If it's more efficient, there will be less driveline(friction) loss. Also,
having a higher stall speed puts the motor further up in it's power band.
Technically, they could say it gives more horsepower there is more
horsepower in that rpm range. Advertising, isn't it tricky?? =) There
should be some actual gains because it will be a more efficient torque
convertor.
