If its not a locker dont get it!! It should lock when on the freeway and
slip is nonexistant... Should be interesting when you put your foot down at
70mph and it downshifts, unlocks and the truck blasts ahead! Hmmm Sounds
like a good thing to me! HPM mag did an article on a HP locking torque
converter for the 518/46 tranny but it wasnt TCIs. Looked trick and is also
available today! Ill get the Mag and post the mfg tommorrow unless someone
else has it handy?

I e-mailed TCI about the converter. Wasn't a wealth of info. I don't
know how hwy friendly this converter would be. 2,500 rpm's in O/D is
about 70mph. Wouldn't it slip and heat up below this rpm? Alan S.
