Again the mirror,
Carlsbad raceway is challenging my buddies F body. He too is embarrased by
his times and feels it when he posts to the F body list... His set up
includes a 6psi Vortech and all the bolt ons you can get... dynoing at over
355hp to the rear wheels, and his times are a best of 12.85 and worst of
13.98...Maybe its that stream crossing at the 1/8th mile or something...

Hmmm. Another testament to the slowness of TX Motorplex, as far as stock
vehicles are concerned anyway. A racin buddy of mine has a '98 C5 Conv.
6spd. He whittled and worked all night to a 14.2 best. Slowest was 14.5.
That seems about normal for what I see from the C5's. NEVER seen a 13
from one. But hey, thats just my experience. I'm not saying faster
times don't happen, I just don't see them. Alan S.
