Mine idles just below mid scale hot but runs 3/4 scale driving. The faster
the engines turns, the faster the oil pump turns. Normal. When cold, oil is
thicker and bearing clearances tighter. NOTHING to worry about. You don't
need high pressure, just good flow volume. Jim in Waco, 99 R/T
