yeah I just found more tires in the 15 range with big ass side walls....
You are close the stock is 28.04 on the R/T dia.... Now I suppose I
need to find a cheap outlet for the tires.... Summit has slicks, but
DAMN that is a ton of cash.... I was thinking drag radials in stead....
BF Gs at tire rack are not too much....

Jason, if it's BFG Drag Radials your thinking about, they make one 16"
size and only one. The sidewall is 26.1". The tallest sidewall 15" is
28". It has a HUGE sidewall area for a great hook-up. Also, I'm not sure
you'll find any 6 bolt wheels other than 15" or the 17's you have now
unless they are aftermarket. Go for the 15's and go to a junkyard and
get 2 15" 6 bolt Dak rims. Also, and dml correct me if I'm wrong, but if
you run a shorter dia. tire you increase the ratio. If I have 3.92 with
the stock 27" R SA's, won't I have something in the 4.10 range with my
25.7" sidewall on my 17" Drag Radials? If this is so, the 28" sidewall
would give a 3.50 or so ratio which should be about perfect for the
Magnum.
