Stock vs. Aftermarket Coil

I just put some really great MSD 8.5MM Super Conductor wires on my Dakota
along with replacing the old Champion Truck Plugs with new Truck Plugs. I also
am
running a Borg Warner Select brass cap and BW Select rotor. I want to get an
Accel Super Coil (#140021) from Jegs($38) that plugs driectly into the factory
wiring harness/connector, all I would have to do is mount it, no biggie.
I am just curious what will this Accel coil do for my truck that my stock coil
doesn't? I know the coil basically produces the spark, but what is so much
better about an aftermarket coil? I would like to get one, just want to know
what makes them so 'special'. I did notice a nice increase in acceleration and
alot smoother of an idle with the new MSD wires and Champion plugs. THANKS.
