Yes, it did give a noticeable perf gain in the low end. However, your
mileage may vary. I had JBA headers and was happy. Then installed a 3" mopar
cat back and took a perf hit. After the Y pipe install I was back on the
saddle plus a pony or two. I have some after pics that I need to put up but
the before pics are on my site. If you dont have headers, try the mike leach
setup. The headers come with a Y pipe. This could be a cheaper, more
efficient route. I paid 200. for a custom 2 1/2" Y pipe.

I know we've talked about this before but I just got done changing my
oil and looked at that little shity y-pipe again. I know someone on the
list has changed it and has some pictures up of it. Did the new pipe
give much of a performance gain? What about the sound of the system did
it get louder? Does someone make an aftermarket pipe or do I have to
have the local shop make me one? Thanks Bob Nichols
