Powdercoating is about a strong a coating as you can get... (besides chrome) It has to be baked on (about 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes) but results are very strong and chip resistant. Eastwood has an at-home powdercoating kit... I can't recall the price,but I think it's about $200 and includes some powder (your color choice)... you will need a dedicated ELECTRIC oven.... (it will stink)

Came upon this pic. Does it belong to anyone on here? Anyone else thought about powdercoating their wheels? Does this last long or will rocks chip off the paint eventually?
