Similar situation on my 98 SLT. I'm taking her in to the dealer next week
(work schedule willing) for that and a few other warranty issues. I'll let
you know how it goes.
I usually just shift by "feel" anyway. Maybe this is why I swore to myself I
would never get an auto again. I miss my 5 speed!
