OK- lets try this again, now that Pedro has his brand new truck, just in time for the heavy April snow falls here in Colorado. Anyway I was looking at my calendar and I figured to give some time for planning that how does May 29th and 30th sound to everyone? It's the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial weekend (31st) which is on Monday so everyone doesn't have to rush home. One reason I say this is because if anybody wants to stay overnight in a motel, reservations could be needed and those can be arranged and I can get you #'s and prices. I was thinking that Ft.(fort) Collins, Colorado would be a descent place to try for a Dakota get-together. They have parks,Estes Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming, fishing, camping and good cheap motels all within 1-hours driving of each other. And being only May, they might even have some snow left in the high country to enjoy with your 4-wheelers. What do you all say? Get all DAKs, RAMs, and DURANGOs together---lets take this place over. Of course, this is only my opinion--if you know of a better place for Colo/ Kan to meet that has fun things to do let us know---NEED INPUT. Also if there is anyother Coloradoan out there that can help with this--I sure won't turn the offer down to make this a good experience for everybody. I'm in the Springs area, and don't get that far North often. I realize those of you from Kansas say that this is too far to travel--let me just say. Get out of the wind and come to a beautiful mountainous region.
