That plug already exists, though for the life of me I cannot remember the
name of them. The company has a web site that is the same as their name. The
plugs for the 318 engine costs $12.50 EACH! It does not end a spark to the
pistonm, but the side electrode is a doughnut instead of a bent rectangular
piece of steel welded to the side of the plug.

I got a better idea... why not just remove the side electrode all together,
and just get a coil big enough to have the spark jump down to the piston?
