Hey Richard,
Glad to hear someone else has the same impression in the hoodliner. Not
that that's good or anything. I have noticed that the K&N element has
become slightly compressed from this sandwiching effect. I'm going to
replace the element after the intake is swapped out.

Man, that's mighty nice of you! Certianly hope it works out for you. I'm
trying to figure how in the hell I can stuff that under the hood when the
K&N FIPK already makes a large impression in the liner. Sure don't want
the "Trottmann effect" on my hood, but more power always is enticing.
