I've heard of some hi-po musclecars back in the 60's that would break their
windshields when the guys put slicks on them and dumped the clutch. Seems
the torque twisted the body so much that it would break the windshield.
However, it's hard to imagine a frame-rail truck flexing that bad. It is
something to consider tho' - maybe when you have a windshield installed
correctly you can also tie the frame rails together to reduce body
flex........
