Don't leave your vehicle unattended in Stockton. When I was a teenager our
family stopped there for eats on the way to Vancouver. Some lowlife broke
into our van and took all my clothes. Imagine a 5 day trip wearing the same
pair of underwear!

Oakley, Ca is between Stockton and San Fran. There is a city called oakland
too. That one might be a little rough for a vacation. BTW stockton sucks
bigtime, someone stole my boat motor. If your thinking about vacation, try
somewhere like Yosimite, Reno, Lake Taho etc. Where are you coming from?
Ther are tons of great outdoor places in ca.
