RE: Do you turn off overdrive for "city" driving?

I turn OD off in the city as well. Too much stop and go traffic in rush
hour. My owners manual recommended that for my '95, but I've never looked
at what the manual for the '98 stated for this. I also find stopping in
heavier traffic to be slightly quicker with OD off. I can't say if it's my
imagination or not, but the engine seems to start slowing down quicker when
it's off, than when it's on at the same speed.
