Absolutely, When my 97 4x4 was new I had a puddle on the passenger side
floor one morning. The Dak had been rained on before with no leaks. The
difference this time was that I had parked in a driveway with an incline
(nose up) . Soon after I took the truck in for an unrelated issue and
mentioned the leak. They diddnt seem surprised and said they replaced a
peice of weather stripping around the front of the door. I couldn't see
what they had done and I was skeptical but Its been rained on heavily since
then and no problem.

If you can park level in the rain till you get to the dealer you may be ok.
