the battery somewhere behind the passenger side of the bed. Can't
decide if I want to run a large ground wire all the way back to
the old battery area or just ground it below the bed. Second thought,
that probably won't work because of exposure. No.1 priority is finding
a good battery hold down box. I've got a tonneau, so it'll hide well.

You can just ground it to the frame...I did it that way on my Buick with no
rroblems...Keep in mind the race track may want you to have an NHRA approved
cut-off switch...if they see the battery in the back...Just dont open your
tonneau when you go into the race track...or put a fakie in the factory
location...just get an old battery and cut of the top, remove the lead and
acid. Or better yet try to get an empty one from a Tire/Battery store that is
being discontinued.
