cross drilled rotors don't last very long... they warp easier (say: if you hit
a puddle or something) and annihilate brake pads... not very practical for
a daily driver, anyway =) good if you're gonna' be racin' around a track
though =)

Drilling rotors merely allow them to dissipate heat faster. Do you have
overheating brakes?
